Asia Systems Analyst

National Instruments is looking for Systems Analyst based in Shanghai, China. This position will work with Systems Analysts and projects initially focused in Asia, and participate hands-on in daily and project driven activities. This position relies on strong relationships and communication channels with Asia End User Community and Management, IT Management in addition to the US-based System/Business Analyst and Operations teams.
The role will have the below core responsibilities:
* Working with a team of System/Business Analysts
* Prioritizing business requirements
* Defining and documenting process flows
* Resource allocation
* Training
* System testing
* Documentation
* General project planning
To be successful, the person needs to possess core competencies in the following areas:
Strategic Thinking: Must demonstrate an ability of translating vision into executable roadmaps.
Decision-making: Analyze problems in a systematic manner and determine best solution for the initiative or situation.
Building Awareness: Gain stakeholder and constituent support and create awareness and consensus about processes and decisions made, across Asia.
Project Management: Effectively managing schedule, scope, and resources for a project, or multiple projects across Asia
Leading Teams:Ability to leading functional or cross-functional team to produce desired business results.
Communication Skills: An ability to manage business expectations through ongoing, clear communication is key. Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise as it relates to design and deployment of databases and providing direction to Programmer Analysts. Oracle knowledge is a plus.
Other Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or Business with concentration on Information Technology, Business Analyst experience is a plus, 3-5 years experience in relevant field (CRM implementation/development experience is a plus), Travel is Required.
