Technical Translator （汉化工程师）

Responsibilities:
* Translate technical documentation and assist engineers localizing software from English to Chinese, using company guidelines and tools.
* Coordinate cross-group review of materials by working with engineers, technical experts, project managers and localization manager.
* Take on short term training or work assignment in company headquarters in Austin, Texas.
Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree (preferably Chinese or English major) with editing and writing emphasis
* Excellent writing skills in Chinese and English
* Good desktop publishing skills, experience working with computers (both hardware and software)
* Good English speaking skills
* Good understanding of computer and engineering concepts and terminology
* Willingness to travel abroad for work and training purposes
Preferences:
* Computer science or programming coursework; knowledge of a programming language a very strong plus.
* Knowledge of Trados computer translation tool.
* Strong interest in computers and technology and familiarity with typical computer documentation, both paper and electronic.
