Senior IT Engineer

Responsibilities:
* Support and manage the IT systems used in our branch in Shanghai by providing server, desktop hardware/software, and network support
* Support and ongoing maintenance of Dell PowerEdge servers running Win2003/2000, as well as Lotus Domino mail and application servers
* Supporting various server-based applications in addition to end-user applications such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, anti-virus applications, fax server applications, and terminal emulators
* Local project management
* Communicate and work with global IT
* Configuration and support of network equipment, including WINS, DNS, DHCP, and RAS/VPN support
* System documentation and development/delivery of technical training to IT staff
* Discharge of on-call responsibilities for the IT systems
Requirements:
* College's degree in MIS, CS, or Engineering
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of Cisco router/switch hardware and software
* Knowledge of Lotus Notes architecture is preferred
* At least 5 year's experience in IT support
* Experience with project management is preferred
* A strong desire to work with all aspects of IT infrastructure ranging from end-user support to system installation and training
* Self-motivated individuals with excellent communications skills including a demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and spoken
* Excellent team skills, the ability to meet deadlines, a close attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer service, both internal and external
* Technologies:WinNT, Win2003/2000, Win98/XP, Lotus Notes, Veritas, Cisco (or related) Networking equipment, Perl
