IT Regional Systems Lead

Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the Asia Pacific Regional IT Manager, be responsible for building and managing a team of System Analysts who provide a variety of IT solutions to all areas of the business and working with branches of National Instruments in Asia
* System infrastructure supporting core IT services
* Data backup and storage systems
* Lotus Notes application platform
* WAN/LAN, wireless, VPN, remote access systems
* Supporting business applications
* Security standards following corporate and industry recommendations
* PBX/ACD phone system
* Supporting Help desk operations for NI Asia Pacific
* Datacenter management
* Vendor relations and negotiations
* Personnel management include performance management and recruiting
* Managing and communicating expectations regarding strategic direction, scope, schedule, and budget to your management
Requirements:
* Significant interaction with various business and technical teams throughout NI globally
* Strengths in technology, communication, project management, team leadership/management, customer service, and mentoring
* Have strong IT technical and project management experience, more importantly have the drive and enthusiasm that makes people want to work with and alongside you to execute on projects
* Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, or Engineering
* 5-8 years of experience planning, implementing, and managing enterprise IT solutions
* 2 years of experience leading or managing IT professionals in a large (250+) company
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Effectively communicate with all types of audiences in English.
* Initiative to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment
* Worked for a multinational company in Asia
* Willing to travel to Austin, Texas (corporate) and other offices in Asia
