Field Sales Engineer (FSE) for EWB company

Functional Area: Sales
Job Family: Marketing and Sales
Location: Shanghai, China
Purpose of Job: To manage the client relationship for key accounts, functioning as a single point of contact for the client. To design and execute strategies for new business development in the territory, and meet targets for sales and growth in assigned geographic region, business sector, and/or client base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Achieve and or surpass territorial goals and objectives and ensures communication to the organization.
* Adheres to procedures and quality standards and monitoring systems to track issues and compliance.
* Plans and ensures optimum use of resources; administers and monitors use against territorial budget.
* Designs and implements strategies for the development and capture of new business; has overall responsibility for the development of new business for an assigned geographic territory. Assumes accountability for achieving defined territorial revenue targets.
* Consults with clients to analyze and understand their business and technical needs and determine which products and services best-fit their requirements.
* Develops technical and business proposals for presentation to clients, assembles expertise from other department to ensure that all technical areas are covered; leads team making presentation to clients.
* Makes individual technical and business presentations to clients and prospective clients.
* Coordinates field activities with Inside Sales Representative (ISR).
* Collaborates with customers and ISR to assess and develop potential of current applications to fulfill customer's requirements.
* Manages client relationships; has overall responsibility for the maintenance and development of business from existing clients.
* Collaborates with other departments to ensure projects or products are delivered on time and to client quality and value expectations. Identifies issues and develops rationale to support recommendations for changes to organizational policies and practices, to respond to client concerns and ensure seamless and effective provision of customer service.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
* 1-3 years experience in customer support, training, or technical sales.
* Excellent telephone interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to quickly learn the company's products and services.
Specialized Skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to small or medium sized groups.
* Fluent in English and Chinese essential.
* Thorough knowledge of company's products/services, sales strategies, pricing, delivery and installation policies. (Training will be provided.)
* Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
* Ability to manage customer relationships at all levels of the organization (technical managers and decision makers).
* Ability to work independently, as part of a team and cross functionally.
* Travel will be required.
